‘GE-Nano Dust’ – Trafficked Areas
GE- Nano ‘Dust’ provides a major advancement from traditional road dust suppression due the multi-size particles size, chemical bonding and the lipophilic nature of these product. Only a small amount of liquid is required to cover large surface area.
Due to the multi-size particles inherent in GE-Nano ‘Dust’, it is now possible, not only to suppress dust, but simultaneously create a deep penetrating ‘Hydrophobic’ layer deep with-in the substrate.
GE-Nano ‘Dust’ can be supplied in 2 forms:
- Modified Anionic Bitumen Emulsion
- Modified Clear Emulsion that provides a clear setting solution
- Deep penetrating and hydrophobic wearing coarse with particle sizes ranging from <1nm to Micrometres.

- The coverage area is greatly increased due to particle size and dispersion of the liquid through increased carrier fluid

Dust has huge negative impacts to the environment and agriculture, including reducing crop yields, burying seedlings, loss of plant tissue, reducing photosynthesis, increased soil erosion, hazardous to humans, carrying of infectious diseases, affecting river and stream water quality, poor visibility as well as damage machinery and plant equipment, to name but a few…
GE-Nano ‘Crust’ has been designed as a “clear setting’ Modified Emulsion to eliminate excess dust in ‘Non-Trafficked’ areas such as tailing dams, dunes or any other areas where materials are loose. GE-Nano ‘Crust’ forms a deep penetrating (In excess of 50mm+), Hydrophobic, hard but flexible crust that does not interfere with the aesthetics of the surrounding environment and that chemically attaches with aggregate for a long-lasting solution.
Higher volumes of water or carrier fluid is used (between 25lts to 200lts water – application dependent), which creates major cost benefits.
